"On-Surface" or "Behind-the-Surface" Mounting : Your Choice The Flexible Surface Mount's design allows it to be mounted onto any wall or desk surface ("On-Surface") easily by using the included adapter plate, or for the most secure mount configuration, affix the mount from behind the surface - so that no screws or bolts can be accessed - for the ultimate in secure mounting. No problem - our Flexible Surface Mount design can be mounted vertically on a desk or table, or horizontally on a wall - making it truly versatile! Clever Wire Management, Power Button Access, & PoE-USB Charging Options We thought of everything, from fitting your Lightning or 30-Pin power cables, to a perfectly sized opening for your 3.5mm headphone jack and cord (including some add-on credit card readers). Our enclosure was designed to fit your needs. The USB charging cable can be passed through the mount's center hole, which is sized to allow for most USB connectors to pass with ease. Once inside the mount's hollow center column, the cable can be passed through the bottom via a "Thru-hole" drilled into the table, wall, or surface. This allows for most USB connectors to pass easily into the mounting surface to power the tablet. Everything is kept nice, neat, and out of sight!! Our unique enclosure design provides a choice between open or limited power button access. As shipped, the enclosure covers the power button - removing the ability for a user's finger to access the tablet's power button. A tiny thru hole still provides the ability to actuate the power button using a paper clip or other tool. Alternatively - for free, unfettered power button access, the cover is removable as needed! Our unique charging solution can simplify the wiring of power to the tablet while keeping the charging power adapter out of sight. In many cases, it can difficult and costly to run a dedicated AC outlet to each kiosk location. Our VidaPower USB to CAT5 adapter is small enough to fit underneath tables, desks, or behind any surface - to provide power directly to the tablets' USB charging cable. Our VidaPower USB to CAT5 adapter can be powered using a standard CAT5 cable. This simplifies the wiring requirement and reduces installation costs.
